At present, with the increasing interest in using clean energy, there is a need for improving the effciency of man-powered machines, vehicles, etc,
While searching for a solution in reducing the fatigue of human body during the use of the above machines and vehicles, we found that pulling and pushing cause the least impact to human muscle movement.
Other forms of movement such as jumping, swimming and running are just suitable for self propelling , i.e., they can
not be effectively used to power(or deliver a job) like pulling and pushing. Therefore, the most effective man-powered machines and vehicles must be operated by "linear drive" method. In this invention, we intend to improve the linear drive method.
Solutions for the above problems
The above problems of conventional man-powered machines and vehicles or apparatus can be solved by using the "linear drive device" which utilizes the back-and-forth
torque mechanism.

Compared to conventional device, the device of this invention and articles powered by this device can reduce a great deal of human body fatigue. Furtheremore, the power
transmission can be performed evenly.
In Japan, man-powered aircraft has been known for sometimes. In the U.S.A. , man-powered submarin has also developped. In all these technologies, due to the aerodynamic design preference. The lowprofiled rocking methond seems to be considered as the winner over the cranking method in which the operator intends to stay in high profile.
